The Caldwell-based Treasure Valley Community Resource Center is an example of what can be done outside the realm of big government and without politicians lining up to take credit for accomplishments.

For 25 years, without a lot of fanfare, the center has provided a valuable service to people who need it the most.

...Volunteers are prepared to respond to almost anything that callers need, including homelessness prevention and housing solutions, medical checkups
and distribution of coats and blankets during the cold months.

Before there was 211, there was TVCRC - a comprehensive telephone referral service putting people needing help in touch with those who can help them. Proudly marking 25 years of service in April of 2017, Treasure Valley Community Resource Center (TVCRC) remains the only agency of its kind serving Southwest Idaho and continues to offer "The Human Touch in One Stop Referral Service". HELP WANTED:   Treasure Valley Community Resource Center is always seeking additional volunteers to help with telephone service, updating the directory and with publicity for the program and services. Those who may be housebound are encouraged to volunteer since many of TVCRC's needs can be met using a telephone and/or a computer. For more information, phone 208-459-9263 or e-mail Jette at info@tvcrc.net.

Treasure Valley Community Resource Center

An all volunteer organization with no paid staff, we accept no government funding. We must rely on sales of our referral directory and the small fee collected from other agencies for participation in our successful annual information fair to help cover minimum expenses.

Often, that's not enough to take care of our monthly telephone bills, computer equipment and internet charges, printing, postage and the mileage expense for volunteers who attend many community service agency activities throughout the year to strengthen and expand our network of resources.

Jette Rogers and her group of dedicated volunteers would welcome your support
so they may continue...

Connecting people needing help with those who can help them.

THANK YOU!!
